The heavy-duty ABS casing and IP67 rating mean each battery is completely dust-tight and highly water-resistant. Inside, the cells feature safety rupture discs designed to safely relieve pressure in the unlikely event of an internal failure. Solid brass connections and hardware are used to keep resistance low, reducing voltage drop and heat build-up at the terminals.

Installation and Expansion Limitations

These batteries offer excellent flexibility, allowing connection of up to 4 units in parallel or 4 in series. However, it is important to understand their specific use case. They are designed strictly for deep-cycle energy storage and are not suitable for under-bonnet installation or engine starting/cranking applications. Additionally, each individual battery supports a maximum continuous discharge of 100A, making each unit suitable for running an inverter up to 1000W. When installing, ensure a minimum clearance of 10mm on all sides of each battery for adequate ventilation.
