This 300mm negative lead is made from Black Key KABC1455030 35mm² automotive battery cable and professionally crimped with your selected Exotronic 35mm² bellmouth lugs at both ends, providing two tinned-copper lug terminations. Black heat shrink covers both terminations and reinforces negative polarity identification.

Flexible Australian-made automotive battery cable

Key KABC1455030 uses a flexible 455/0.30mm oxygen-free plain-copper conductor with a nominal area of 32.16mm² and durable V90HT insulation. It is intended for low-voltage battery, starter, charging and auxiliary-power wiring in automotive, caravan and similar DC systems.

Reference current rating: 188A. This is the published JASO D609 single-core rating at 30°C ambient temperature. This Key cable has V90HT insulation; the AS/NZS 3008.1.1 Table 6 values for 110°C RALOS X-HF-110 cable do not apply to this product.

Derating and cable selection: This reference value is not a universal circuit rating. Derating applies for higher ambient temperature, grouping or bundling, installation method, enclosure, thermal insulation and other heat sources. The complete circuit must also be designed for voltage drop, run length, termination ratings, overcurrent protection and duty cycle by a suitably qualified person.

Reliable bellmouth terminations

The flared entry on each Exotronic bellmouth lug guides fine cable strands into the barrel without splaying. Fully annealed, electro-tinned copper supports a clean crimp and a corrosion-resistant, low-resistance connection.
