The device supports LTE Cat 1 with up to 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload, as well as fallback to GSM, GPRS, and EDGE networks. For installations in areas with weak signal, an SMA connector for an optional external antenna is provided, allowing you to improve reception with a separately available outdoor antenna.

Flexible Connectivity for Victron Ecosystems

The GlobalLink 530 features two isolated VE.Direct ports for hard-wired connection to compatible Victron devices such as MPPT solar chargers, battery monitors, and inverters. In addition, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) support allows you to bring in data from up to 10 Victron Smart products and compatible RuuviTag sensors for environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity, air pressure). Two digital inputs and a NO/NC relay (rated up to 30 VDC / 2 A or 125 VAC / 0.5 A) extend its utility for basic status monitoring and simple switching tasks.
